Sunday Morning Worship Services

Chapel at Central United Methodist Church [Click to enlarge]

The Palmetto Moravian Fellowship is a mission of the Moravian Church, proclaiming the message of Christian love to the Upstate of South Carolina.

We worship at 9:00 AM each Sunday in the chapel of Central United Methodist Church located at 233 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC.

One Sunday each month our services are conducted by Rev. F. Herbert Weber, a retired Moravian minister from Winston-Salem, NC.

Other services each month are conducted by Rev. Mike Vandiver, Pastor of Central United Methodist Church.

Our services are easily understood and include Hymns, the Liturgy of the Moravian Church, Prayer, Holy Scriptures and a Sermon.

Visitors are welcome and we invite you to worship with us.

"To those who seek a spiritual home, and have not found it, the doors of this church stand wide open in welcome. They will be received with sincerity and kindness, and surrounded by friendship."

The following is an abbreviated version of a Mission Statement called "The Ground of Unity" adopted by an international gathering of Moravians in 1957:
The church exists so that it may serve Christ on the earth until He comes. The Unitas Fratrum is, therefore, to serve humanity by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
